One Morning, One Community, One Clean Village: This Saturday

Earth Month is here, and there is no better way to celebrate than getting outside and giving back right here in Carlsbad Village. Join us this Saturday, April 18 for a feel-good morning that does a little good before you head off to enjoy what is shaping up to be another beautiful weekend.

This clean-up is our last one until August, so if you have been meaning to come out, this is your moment. Think of it as your chance to celebrate Earth Day a little early while helping keep the Village looking its best.

We will meet at 9:30AM outside Pure Project Carlsbad Village (2825 State Street) and clean until 11:30AM. You can stay the whole time or pop in for a bit, every effort counts and adds up quickly.

And it really does add up. At our first clean-up this year, more than 80 volunteers collected over 140 pounds of trash. Since launching the program, that number has grown to over 4,695 pounds removed from our streets, sidewalks, and spaces we all share.

We will have gloves, buckets, and pickers ready for you, so all you need to do is show up. Bring a friend, bring the family, or come solo and meet some neighbors along the way.

As a thank you, volunteers who collect two pounds or more of trash will receive a few local perks from our community partners, including one dollar off pints at Pure Project, a free cone card from Handel’s Ice Cream, and coffee deals from Baba Coffee.
