The wait is almost over! Tickets for Taste of Carlsbad Village go on sale next Friday, September 4, at 9:00 AM, and if Taste is on your fall calendar, this is one date and time you will not want to forget.
Why set an alarm? Taste of Carlsbad Village sells out every year, and tickets have sold out the same day. With only 1,000 tickets available, we highly recommend being ready when sales open at 9:00 AM.
This year’s Taste takes place Thursday, October 8, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, when downtown Carlsbad will once again become one big self-guided tasting experience filled with incredible food, drinks, live music, local businesses, and plenty of fun along the way.
With your passport and reusable stainless-steel spork in hand, you’ll stroll through the Village at your own pace, stopping at participating restaurants for signature bites and decadent desserts. Live musicians will be playing along the route, and guests with Food + Sip Stops tickets can mix in beverage tastings hosted inside local retail businesses as they make their way through downtown.
And the 2026 lineup gives you plenty to look forward to.

When tickets go on sale, there will be three ways to Taste the Village. Food Only tickets are $55, while Food + Sip Stops tickets are $70 for guests 21 and over. For those looking for an upgraded evening, only 100 VIP Experience tickets will be available for $120, including the Food + Sip Stops experience plus an exclusive VIP reception and additional perks.
