Soar Into Summer at Flicks at the Fountain with How to Train Your Dragon

There’s still time to enjoy one of Carlsbad Village’s favorite summer traditions! Join us on Thursday, July 30, for the second-to-last Flicks at the Fountain of the season as we present a free outdoor showing of How to Train Your Dragon (2025) (PG).

Seating begins at 6:00 PM in the Fountain Parking Lot at the corner of State Street and Grand Avenue, next to Shorehouse Kitchen. Creative dinosaur-themed crafts will be hosted by the Boys & Girls Club of Carlsbad Village. Trivia Tim will be there this week to host Music Bingo, giving families and friends a chance to enjoy some friendly competition before the movie begins.

Bring a blanket or low-back chair (please no upright or tall chairs), settle in with family and friends, and enjoy the fun before the movie begins at dusk, around 8:00 PM. Be sure to come hungry, too. Pick up dinner from one of Carlsbad Village’s many restaurants that are just steps away, or order from Knockout Pizza, which will be on site taking orders and delivering pizza right to your seat.
