Spring into Action: Help Keep Carlsbad Village Clean at Our April Clean-Up

Blog Post - March 31, 2026

Category: What's New

April is a time when sustainability takes center stage, but in Carlsbad Village, caring for our community is something we carry with us year-round. Our clean-ups are a simple, meaningful way to show that in action, bringing people together to take pride in the place we all share.

That impact is already being felt this year. At our first clean-up, 81 volunteers came together and collected 141 pounds of trash throughout the Village, setting the tone for what is possible when the community shows up.

We are keeping that momentum going on Saturday, April 18 for our second clean-up of the year. Volunteers will meet outside of Pure Project Carlsbad Village at 9:30AM, and the clean-up will run until 11:30AM. You are welcome to stay the full time or join for as long as you can.

As a thank you, volunteers who collect two pounds or more of trash will receive a few local perks, including one dollar off pints at Pure Project, a free cone card from Handel’s Ice Cream, and day-of coffee deals from Baba Coffee.

These efforts would not be possible without the support of our community partners. Pure Project provides grain bags and pickers, and Handel’s supplies repurposed buckets that once held ice cream, helping us reduce waste while we clean up. We will also have gloves, buckets, and pickers available for volunteers, and you are always welcome to bring your own.

We look forward to seeing both familiar and new faces on April 18 as we continue working together to keep Carlsbad Village clean, welcoming, and vibrant.
