St. Michael’s Jazz Fest Brings World-Class Music to The Village

Carlsbad Village will come alive with the sound of jazz on Saturday, September 27, 2025, when St. Michael’s by-the-Sea hosts the annual St. Michael’s Jazz Fest. We are proud to be a sponsor of this community celebration, which brings together acclaimed musicians, local ensembles, and jazz lovers of all ages for a full day of music and connection.

This year’s festival features an outstanding lineup, headlined by the Grammy Award-winning Rebirth Brass Band from New Orleans. Joining them on stage will be the Euphoria Brass Band, Gilbert Castellanos Latin Jazz Ensemble, Starsign, Chunky Hustle Brass Band, Sue Palmer Swing Orchestra, and other talented performers.

The mission of St. Michael’s Jazz Fest extends beyond entertainment. The event is designed to highlight jazz as America’s original art form while fostering inclusion, accessibility, and community. Attendees can look forward not only to live performances but also to free educational workshops, opportunities for student and military ensembles to perform, and the chance to experience music ambassadors from New Orleans right here in Carlsbad.

While the festival is free and open to all, supporters are invited to contribute $40 to help keep this community event thriving. Each donation includes an exclusive festival t-shirt and 10 raffle tickets as a thank-you.

Guests will also enjoy a variety of food and drink options on site. S Loco Taco and Grilled Cheese King will be serving up local favorites, while Pizza Port Carlsbad returns with their signature brews along with the special release of Rebirth IPA, created exclusively for Jazz Fest. Coffee from Mr. Brown Bean and other refreshing non-alcoholic beverages will also be available. Outside food and non-alcoholic drinks are welcome.
