Stack Up Some Smiles: Support Shop with a Cop at the Pancake Breakfast

The Carlsbad Police Department and Richness of Giving (ROG) invite the community to join them for a morning of food, family fun, and giving back at the annual Shop with a Cop Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, at Magee Park (258 Beech Avenue).

Guests will enjoy a delicious breakfast prepared by Señor Grubby’s, Mas Fina Cantina, and The Daily News Café, along with fresh coffee from Baba Coffee and sweet treats from Handles Ice Cream.

Beyond breakfast, the event is packed with activities for the whole family:

• Raffle prizes and a silent auction

• K-9 demonstration

• SWAT BearCat, CBPD Beach Polaris, and a vintage police car on display

• Games and giveaways with Frontwave Arena and the Boys and Girls Club

• Free helmets and fittings for kids from Scripps Hospital Trauma Prevention Team

• A Presentation of the Colors by Army Navy Academy cadets

• Live music and more

Tickets are $10 in advance and include pancakes, eggs, sausage or bacon, fruit, coffee, and juice. Opportunity drawing tickets are available for $5 each or $20 for five.

Since 1994, Shop with a Cop has brought holiday joy to children across San Diego County. Each December, more than 300 officers from over 30 local, state, and federal agencies volunteer their time to spend the day with children selected from local schools, enjoying private animal shows at SeaWorld and a holiday shopping spree at Target.

This year, the Carlsbad Police Department and ROG hope to make an even greater impact.
