Take Home a Story This Wednesday with the Carlsbad City Library Book Bike

There’s always something new to discover at the State Street Farmers Market, and every third Wednesday of the month, the Carlsbad City Library Book Bike is part of the fun.

Filled with free books for readers of all ages, the Book Bike makes it easy to pick up your next great read while spending the afternoon in Carlsbad Village. It’s a wonderful way to encourage kids to dive into a new story, inspire a little extra summer reading, or simply discover a book to enjoy yourself.

Be sure to grab a free packet of seeds while you’re there, too. Through the Carlsbad City Library’s Grow Your Garden program, visitors can take home seeds to plant and learn more about growing fruits, vegetables, herbs, and flowers right at home.

Stop by the Book Bike on Wednesday, July 15, at the south end of the State Street Farmers Market, where Carlsbad Village Drive and State Street meet. It’s one of those simple touches that makes our market so special, bringing together books, gardening, and lifelong learning in a fun and welcoming way.
