Taste of Carlsbad Village: Brunch Edition Returns May 16

After a sold-out debut last spring, Taste of Carlsbad Village: Brunch Edition returns for its second annual event on Saturday, May 16 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. This popular daytime tasting experience invites guests to enjoy a spring Saturday exploring downtown Carlsbad like never before.

Guests will embark on a self-guided stroll through the Village, sampling brunch favorites, specialty coffee drinks, fresh juices, sparkling mimosas and more. With live music, lively storefronts, and the unmistakable energy of the Village, it’s the perfect way to spend the morning connecting with friends, savoring new flavors, and enjoying everything that makes Carlsbad Village so vibrant.

Following last year’s success, we’ve increased the number of tickets from 600 to 800 to give more guests the chance to participate. Tickets are $50 each, all-inclusive with food and beverages, and are expected to sell quickly.

This year’s participating restaurant include Baba Coffee, Barons Market, Beach City Smoothies, Better Buzz Coffee, Café Elysa, CBar, Coyote Cafe, Kona Craft Café (formerly Daily News Café), Dini’s Bistro, Froglanders, Le Papagayo, Lofty Coffee, Lola’s, Naked Cafe, Señor Grubby’s, Swami’s Café and more! From cozy coffee counters to longtime local favorites, the lineup highlights the incredible variety found within a few walkable blocks.

Just like the fall Taste event, this Brunch Edition delivers good vibes and the kind of community buzz you can only find in Carlsbad Village. Whether you joined us last year or are discovering the event for the first time, this is brunch, the Carlsbad Village way - a festive, flavorful, and fun way to enjoy a Saturday morning downtown.
