The streets of Carlsbad Village will come alive this Sunday, November 2, for one of the largest one-day street fairs in the nation. The Carlsbad Village Street Faire draws thousands of visitors each year to enjoy more than 750 vendors offering handmade goods, international food, local art, and family-friendly entertainment.

From 8 AM to 4 PM, downtown Carlsbad transforms into a lively marketplace filled with music, delicious food, and coastal charm. Whether you’re shopping for unique gifts, tasting something new, or simply soaking up the atmosphere, the Street Faire promises something for everyone.

Getting There and Parking

Parking in the Village will be limited, so visitors are encouraged to use the free shuttle service:

  • The Shoppes at Carlsbad, 2525 El Camino Real
  • Poinsettia COASTER Station, 6511 Avenida Encinas

Cyclists can take advantage of a free bike valet provided by the City of Carlsbad and Lily Field Realty, operated by the San Diego County Bicycle Coalition. The valet station is located at 2965 Roosevelt St.

Road Closures

To make room for the event, several streets will be closed from 4 AM to 8 PM on Sunday, including:

  • Grand Avenue (Carlsbad Blvd to Jefferson St)
  • State Street (Carlsbad Village Dr to Beech St)
  • Roosevelt Street (Carlsbad Village Dr to Beech St)
  • Madison Street (Carlsbad Village Dr to Arbuckle Pl)
  • Washington Street (Carlsbad Village Dr to Christiansen Way)
  • Christiansen Way (between State St and the COASTER Station entrance)

A Village Tradition

First held in 1975, the Carlsbad Village Street Faire has become a beloved community tradition that celebrates local spirit and craftsmanship. With its festive energy and ocean breeze backdrop, it’s the perfect way to spend a Sunday in Carlsbad.
