The Village is gearing up for one of its most anticipated traditions of the year. Hosted by the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce, the Carlsbad Village Street Faire returns this Sunday, May 3, bringing a full day of shopping, food, and community to downtown Carlsbad.

From 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, the streets will transform into a vibrant, walkable marketplace filled with hundreds of vendors, a wide range of food options, and live entertainment throughout the day. It is a chance to spend time outdoors, explore local and visiting businesses, and experience the energy that makes the Village such a special place.

To accommodate the event, street closures will be in place across downtown, including Grand Avenue from Carlsbad Boulevard to Jefferson Street, along with portions of State Street and surrounding roads. Visitors are encouraged to plan ahead for traffic, parking, and access throughout the day.

Pancake Breakfast

A longtime Street Faire tradition also returns with the Carlsbad Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast, hosted alongside BSA Troop 784. Breakfast will be served from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with proceeds supporting local youth programs, scholarships, and community initiatives.

For those planning to attend, pancake breakfast tickets will be available today at the State Street Farmers’ Market from 2:30–7:00 PM. The Kiwanis team will be set up near the south end of the market at State Street and Carlsbad Village Drive.

With the Village closed to cars and open to pedestrians, Sunday offers a unique opportunity to experience downtown in a different way. Plan ahead, arrive early, and enjoy a full day in the heart of Carlsbad.
