There are a lot of festive holiday opportunities in the Village this month. From shopping to donating to visits with Santa, there's a little bit of everything and something for everyone. This list will be updated as additional opportunities are added or events are modified, so check back often.

Senor Grubby's Christmas Party
Wednesday, December 8th

A visit from Santa, raffles, cookie decorating, photo booth, antique fire engine, live music, and wood fired pizza round out Senor Grubby's annual fundraising Christmas event from 6pm to 8pm. Click Senor Grubby's Christmas Party for more information.

Donate to Carol's House
Wednesday, December 8th

From 2:30pm to 6:00pm, bring new, unwrapped toys to the State Street Farmers' Market and drop them into the drop box at the intersection of State St. and Grand Ave. at the Farmers' Market Information Table and receive a $1.00 off coupon for every toy. BLOC (downtown's co-working office space) has partnered with Carol's House this holiday season. Carol's House is a local emergency domestic violence shelter in North County. You can help bring some much deserved joy to families in transition.

Stuff The Bus
Saturday, December 11th

Bring new, unwrapped toys to the Boys and Girls Clubhouse and stuff the bus with Christmas Cheer for families that need help this holiday season. Click Stuff The Bus for more information.

Free Photos With Santa
Saturday, December 11th

No appointment is necessary for this fun and festive photo opportunity with Santa, generously provided by Engel & Volkers. Click Photos With Santa for more information and to also learn about their autism and sensory-friendly sessions that are by appointment only 2:00pm - 4:30pm.

Donate to Toys For Tots
Wednesday, December 15th

From 2:30pm to 6:00pm, bring new, unwrapped toys to the State Street Farmers' Market and drop them into the drop box at the intersection of State St. and Grand Ave. at the Farmers' Market Information Table and receive a $1.00 off coupon for every toy. Once again, The UPS Store Carlsbad Village and the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation are partnering to bring joy to San Diego County families. Nearly 48,000 children were supported in 2020 through this program. 

Caroling Bus
Friday, December 17th

From 6pm to 9pm, Santa will be leading the way in Carlsbad's Antique Fire Truck as the Boys and Girls Club of Carlsbad Village tool around town in their "singing bus" making stops along the way to carol with you and make the evening a festive one! Stopping points are at the discretion of the driver and safety conditions at the time. The map below will help you follow along in the musical fun!

Holiday at the Market
Wednesday, December 22nd

Mark your calendar for our most festive Farmers' Market ever! Come listen to your favorite holiday tunes by the award-winning, classical pianist,  Robert Parker. Santa will be dropping by to hand out candy canes and spread some holiday cheer. And, the kids from the Boys and Girls Club will be delighting with Christmas carols. Spend the afternoon with us!
