In just six weeks, a brand new year will be upon us! But until then, we have a lot to do! Thanksgiving is just a week away and then we slide right into Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday - the shopping trifecta! The Village is a great place to be for all of this and so much more.
If you are feeling especially thankful this year, consider giving to the Village Community Food Drive sponsored by Carlsbad Causes for Community (C3), a non-profit group in the Village consisting of local businesses and Carlsbad residents who collaborate to raise money for various community causes by organizing and implementing events and projects that serve the community. There are nearly 30 drop-off locations for canned goods and other non perishable items as outlined on their website that will benefit Got Your Back San Diego and Interfaith Services. On Small Business Saturday, Viz Art Ink Gallery is holding its annual Holiday Event and welcomes the public to stop by, browse the art on display, listen to live music, possibly win a prize or two, and enjoy a bit of hospitality provided by the Carlsbad Chocolate Bar.
