Wednesday, August 24 -- Parking is a top issue for people who live, work and play in Carlsbad Village. That is why the City of Carlsbad is in the process of an intensive parking study of the Village, Barrio and nearby beach areas, and they want your feedback!
The City of Carlsbad is holding a community meeting to get public input about parking in the Village, Barrio and nearby beach area. The meeting will take place tonight, Wednesday, Aug. 24, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., at the Carlsbad Senior Center, 799 Pine Ave.
“We appreciate the hundreds of community members who have already shared their thoughts about parking around the Village, Barrio and beach area,” said Pam Drew, city planner and project manager for the parking study. “We really want community members to weigh in so we’re providing another opportunity for those who would like to provide input in person.”
If you are unable to make the community meeting August 24th, the online parking survey is still available. It just takes a few moments to complete and your information will be invaluable.
More information on the parking study and community meeting can be found on the city website. We look forward to seeing you August 24th.
