Your Donation Matters: Save Lives and Earn Spooky Rewards

The Heart of the Village Blood Drive returns on Saturday, September 27, from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM at Barrio Glassworks (3060 Roosevelt Street), and the need for donors is greater than ever. With only 18 appointments left, now is the time to step forward.

Every two seconds, someone in the United States requires blood. Accident victims, patients undergoing surgery, and those fighting cancer or chronic illnesses depend on a steady blood supply. One donation can save up to three lives, and the process takes less than an hour.

This year, thanks to a partnership with the San Diego Blood Bank and SeaWorld, every donor will receive a ticket to SeaWorld’s Howl-O-Scream, San Diego’s largest nighttime Halloween experience (while supplies last). Donors will also enjoy a sweet reward, a free cone card to Handel’s Ice Cream in Carlsbad Village.
